Nature's healing presence is here for you.

I just wanted to reach out. I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well. In these uncertain times, I am finding it very helpful to continue to focus on what I can do each day to stay grounded, and calm. This may mean turning off the news for a while, taking a bath, listening to beautiful music, and for me it it often means getting outside. Even from the front step you can feel the warming sun. It is important for all of us to continue to find what it is that helps us to find a relaxed state, whenever we can. It will help your immune system to stay strong, and if you have loved ones nearby, it will help you to be there for them.
I woke up this morning knowing that I needed to get out for a walk even before breakfast. I sat under a favorite strong oak that is like a dear friend to me now. And as I sat, I noticed my breath deepening, and my Spirit lightened. Hearing the woodpeckers, mourning doves, robins, and chickadees was cheerful and welcome. The maples are full of red buds, the mallards and geese and one gorgeous wood duck were all very busy swimming around and popping down under water for breakfast every so often. I saw two great blue herons flying together past the rising sun.
With everything going on in the world now, with all the fear and worry many are feeling, Spring is still here and it is here for me and you.
Take the time to take it all in, if even just from an open window.
And breathe.
Feel free to reach out! I have suspended all person to person contact for the time being, but am still here.
take good, good care,
Suzi
